Author and teacher Jeanne Darling joined SwissPats to discuss her expat journey that began in 1991. Soon after arriving Darling started founded and directed Tiny Tots, which is now the Swiss British International School, ELA Basel, taught at ISB and now is a published author. Her latest, The Monster Book of Switzerland, accompanies young readers on a tour of topics that range from how to dig a tunnel through the mountains to what makes Swiss chocolate unique. Suzi and Don also discuss a recent survey that shows how Switzerland struggles in making expats feel at home and, finally, nine things that are sure to surprise you about this country.
